Why Bloodstock Fund?

“His body is a paradox of mass and lightness, crafted to slip through air with the ease of an arrow. In flight, he is nature’s ultimate wedding of form and purpose.”

— Laura Hillenbrand, Seabiscuit: An America Legend

Our investment approach

The Bloodstock Fund provides sophisticated investors access to a progressive alternative asset class, via an invitation-only managed fund, regulated by Australian law as an MIT (Managed Investment Trust). The Bloodstock Fund will capitalise on the significant tailwinds and growth opportunities within the Australian and Global bloodstock industry.

The Fund’s approach to investing draws on the following factors:

  • Bloodstock experience. The Fund’s Advisory Board and management team are deeply connected and engaged with the local Australian/ New Zealand thoroughbred industry and have extensive local and global experience.

  • Established market relationships. As long-established industry participants, the Bloodstock team have access to opportunities which are only achievable with specialised local knowledge, long-standing existing partnerships, and immediate access to key industry participants.

  • Access to scarcity. The Bloodstock Fund has access to Yearling purchases and Stallion deals that are not publicly available. The Fund will also have access to other non-public deals including exclusive partnership purchases.

  • Broad commercial experience. Our Advisory Board and Management team have been established to provide a broad mix of commercial experience both within Racing and Breeding and across other areas including Global Finance, Technology and Funds Management, to complement the fund’s bloodstock strength.
